A Quick Christmas Craft and Some Decorating!

It is finally the most wonderful time of the year! I pulled out our Christmas decorations the day before Thanksgiving and we’ve decorated little by little over the past few days. Christmas music has been on 24/7 and I’ve been drinking a lot of hot chocolate – It just really is the most magical wonderful time of the year.

My best friend Bridgette (see our bestie weekend HERE) did the cutest DIY Christmas decoration, I totally copied her and wanted to share it all with you! It is so quick and easy but still so cute!

I got all my supplies from Michaels, when all their Christmas decor was 50 percent off this past weekend.  All you need is mason jars (I opted for ones with out writing but either would work), buffalo snow, Lemax snowy juniper trees, and  a couple Lemax figurines.

First I ripped up some buffalo snow and put in the bottom of the mason jar, I used a spoon to pack the snow down. Then I added the trees, and lastly the figurines. It took at most 5 minutes and I’m so happy with how they turned out.

These were so fun and easy to make, I’m definitely going to make more to put around the house.

After my Christmas craft Brian and I decorated the tree. One of my favorite things to do is pull out all the ornaments from years past — and add new ones, like our engagement ornament Bridgette got us.

I can’t wait to grow our ornament collection as our family changes and grows. Cheers to the most wonderful time of the year! How is your Christmas decorating coming along?
